A lot of people assume that the best sports PG in the country is at Villanova. They have been there for over 30 years and never seem to go outside of their small conference. But who is right? Is Villanova the best? And if so, how do you get there?
In my opinion, it really comes down to who the head coach is. I’ve heard many coaches say that they don’t care where their team is going as long as they are winning. That’s a philosophy that can be implemented anywhere, but it will not result in a championship game or even a good season by any Villanova basketball team.
If you look at Villanova’s roster, you would think สล็อตโรม่า the best player is a senior that can score all the buckets. But that’s not necessarily true. Devon Patterson is probably the best-scoring guard on the team but he is not the best at distributing the ball. Patrick Ewing is the best at creating shots for his teammates, but he just doesn’t have enough of a killer mentality to play point guard at the same time.
Even with those two huge question marks, Villanova still has the best sports PG in America. I say this because of the culture at the school. Villanova is known as one of the most hardcore schools in America and a lot of players and fans have come from there. The school has an alumni that play in the NBA, and the majority of the current college players have at least some Villanova credit.
I think part of what has made Villanova such a great program is the fan base. A lot of programs lose support when a coach loses his/her way, or when the stadium is packed for another team. Villanova gets much of its crowd from the student body. They chant, and they root for their team in great numbers. It’s an extremely intimidating atmosphere for opponents and recruits.
As far as the best sports PG goes, Villanova would be my pick. They have proven over the years that they are the best, and they also have the players to prove it. Jerrelle Braxton, Dorial Green-iffin, and Jonathan Cassell III are the current starters, but they have been joined by several others in recent years. If you take away Dorial Green-iffin, who is the best player on the team, you still have a bunch of guys that can contribute.
Kentucky is my second favorite. Coach Billy Gillispie has brought some young talent into play, and he has done an excellent job of developing them. UK has one of the best sports franchises in the country, and they have several guys that are making the right kind of impact. Kentucky has proven that they can compete with any team in the country, and they have a passionate fan base as well. UK is one of the best sportspgs in the country, and they will continue to climb in stature. You should take a look at their schedule to see how good they are.
